Philly Codefest 2022 - Ciright Absolute Security Solution Challenge
Primary Challenge:
Properly implementing CyberONE card log-in authentication into your team’s
Codefest application is the primary objective of Ciright’s challenge.
NOTE #1: To properly implement FIDO into any application, the app must have
the ability to do the following:
● register a FIDO authentication method
● deregister a FIDO authentication method
● allow the user to login or use MFA with a FIDO authentication method
NOTE #2: When testing the CyberONE functionality of your application, you
CANNOT use MacOS as it does not support FIDO authentication through NFC.
You must use Windows or an iOS/Android device to test this functionality.
BONUS Challenge:
Cyber Security App
Design/develop a cyber security application or prototype that helps simplify the
use and adherence of stronger authentication methods in personal or business
applications. Addressing any challenges or obstacles that may be preventing
people from becoming better protected.
Example potential features and goals might include:
● Manage all online applications security settings using CyberONE or other authentication methods with one application.
● Educate and inform on the growing vulnerability of cyber threats and the
best practices of prevention. Security breaches and identity theft through phishing etc.
● Am I at risk? Am I protected?
Judging Criteria
Working implementation of CyberONE card authentication within the application
is the primary component to be judged. Below is the general criteria that we will be
judging to determine the BEST teams:
● Functionality
● Creativity
● UI/UX Design
● Quality of Demonstration and Presentation
Prize
The winners will enjoy a tour of Ciright’s Headquarters and an outing for lunch with the leadership team. They will also be exposed to Ciright’s patented technology during their visit at the Ciright office.
